Meet Dr. Ameeta Sachdev
ABO Board-Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Ameerta Sachdev has been in the dental field for two decades. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University, Boston and attended an advanced orthodontic education program at New Jersey Dental School (now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine). Dr. Sachdev wrapped up her speciality training by completing her orthodontic residency at the University of Colorado.
Upon returning to North Rockland, Dr. Sachdev decided to open her own practice, and Sachdev Family Orthodontics was born. She also took the extra step of becoming board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Now, as a leader in her field, when she’s not busy treating patients, Dr. Sachdev teaches orthodontic residents as faculty at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx.
